The Internet was at its prime during the 90s and early 2000s.
Many websites featured unique and original content displayed
using beautiful layouts which were often coded by hand. These
layouts, impressive at the time, are considered archaic now. A
lot has changed with the way coding is done, and websites just
don't look that way anymore.

I created pollyvisceral dot com with the goal of maintaining the
aesthetic of those 90s/y2K personal websites. The HTML on this
website is an antique. I coded it by hand using archives from the
websites I used to build over 20 years ago. The minimalistic aspect
of my coding presents a quaint and kitschy collection of links to
various projects of mine which can easily be viewed on mobile as
well as on desktop.

I handcoded this project from scratch in Notepad using the archives
I had from the websites I used to build over 20 years ago. This page
is hosted at hostarmada.com. Graphics were created and edited using a
combination of the photo editor and camera on my phone and the Windows
11 version of MS Paint. All of the art is original and was either
photographed by my cell phone camera, or was scanned using a Canon
scanner from 2014. (Thank you Jerry for the scanner!)
